South East Regional Games
After a successful outing at the Imaguero College in Benin, Edo state with 70 athletes receiving medical screening in Audiology, Vision, Dental and General Medical Examination alongside Sports competition, SONigeria team has moved on to Enugu state in preparation for the South East Regional Games which will commence as from Wednesday 14th - Saturday 17th October.
Venue of the Competition is the Daughters of Divine Love Juniorate School, Abakpa Nike, Enugu state. Over 130 athletes will be participating at the games.

Special Olympics Nigeria will be in Benin
Special Olympics Nigeria is having a sports competition & health screening in Benin, Edo state on the 9th of October at the Imaguero college.
100 athletes are expected to compete in 3 Olympic-type events.

Introduction
Special Olympics is an international movement dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual challenges to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through Sports Training and athletic competition.
The movement involves:
¨ More than 200 Special Olympics Programs in 150 countries.
¨ 26 olympics-type summer and winter sports
¨ 7 regional offices around the world, including Belgium, China, Egypt, India,
