Special Olympics Nigeria will be in Benin

Special Olympics Nigeria is having a sports competition & health screening in Benin, Edo state on the 9th of October at the Imaguero college.

100 athletes are expected to compete in 3 Olympic-type events.

Special Olympics Nigeria volunteers can get involved at the local, state or national level, or offer their services locally at a Special Olympics event in their community. Some volunteers offer a few hours of their time a year at specific events, while others work several hours a week year-round.

Whatever your interests, talents, background and availability, there are volunteer opportunities for you, from a one-day stint as a scorekeeper at an athletic event to licensed health care providers volunteering their time to provide event-based health opportunities for athletes through the Special Olympics Nigeria Healthy Athletes initiative.
